BLACK BEAN DIP
- 1 - 15 oz Can - Organic Black Beans - drained & rinsed
- 1/2 Cup - Your Favorite Organic Salsa
- 1 - Clove of Garlic - minced (or 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic Powder)
- Dash of Salt (I use Pink Himalayan or Fine Sea Salt)
- Dash of Black Pepper
Toss all ingredients into your food processor and process until the beans break down and you begin to get a creamy dip consistency. Stop the processor, scrape the sides with a spatula and taste test the dip. Add additional salt/pepper if needed and process for a few more seconds until you reach your desired consistency. Enjoy!
Tip: For a thicker bean dip, be sure to let your beans drain completely after rinsing them in water. Very wet beans will result in a thinner dip. You can also process for a shorter amount of time for a chunkier dip.
